He will speak as part of the main panel kicking off this exclusive event, gathering key representatives from the music and event industries as well as talent agencies around the world from September 24 to 26 in the British capital.

Kovačević will join the panel “The Festival Season 2024,” discussing the challenges facing the European festival industry, which is navigating its most difficult period this century due to a general rise in costs following the pandemic. Alongside Dušan Kovačević, the panel will feature leading industry professionals, including Fruzsina Szép, director and founder of Superbloom Festival and part of the global Lollapalooza brand, James Drury, experienced journalist and current IQ Magazine contributor, Mark Williamson, founder of Rostr, Matt Bates, one of the top agents in the music industry and executive director at Primary Talent International, and Summer Marshall, seasoned agent from the influential global talent agency, Creative Artists Agency.

Kovačević’s participation underscores EXIT’s pivotal role in shaping the future of the music industry, both in Europe and globally:

“It’s an exceptional honor to be invited to open one of Europe’s leading music conferences. Events like this are vital in recognizing the music industry’s role within the global economy, which employs millions of people worldwide and significantly contributes to GDP. This invitation confirms EXIT’s position as one of Europe’s most influential festivals, motivating us to continue innovating and growing, especially as we look forward to celebrating the festival’s 25th anniversary next year,” Kovačević said.

The IFF, which will celebrate its 10th anniversary next year, is recognized as the world’s premier event for networking among major music festivals and booking agents. This year’s conference is expected to host over 1,000 delegates, representing over 750 festivals and tens of thousands of performers.
