As part of this tour, he’s set to light up Belgrade’s Barutana on September 23. In the lead-up, he continues to grace fans every Friday with a fresh track from his upcoming album “Infinite Reflection.” His latest single, “Floating,” offers a refreshing sound paired with catchy reggae tunes. The lyrics, deeply romantic, are dedicated to his wife, fellow musician Sahida Apsara, who also features in the music video!
Dub FX fans have already had the pleasure of hearing tracks like “Cracks In the Mirror,” “No More,” and “Woman Rising” from the new album. Known for his genre-blending style – from reggae, dub, and hip-hop to drum and bass – Dub FX doesn’t just impress on record. His live performances are a powerful fusion of beatboxing and top-notch production, intertwined perfectly with compelling, lyrical narratives that champion unity, positivity, and social awareness. Over the years, he’s blessed fans with numerous albums, including 2020’s “Roots” and “Branches,” and hits like “Flow,” “No Rest For The Wicked,” “So Are You,” “Wandering Love,” and many more.
The new event by EXIT, organized in collaboration with Barutana, brings Dub FX’s distinctive sound to fans and, as the artist himself emphasized, a new dimension to live performances. This is not the first collaboration between EXIT and the Australian musician. He has performed twice at EXIT Festival, in 2014 and 2019, with his strong connection with the local audience further highlighted by a street show in the heart of Novi Sad in 2014.
A very limited number of tickets for Dub FX’s Belgrade show are available here, as well as at Gigs Tix’s physical locations and online store, at a promotional price of 1,400 RSD.
