His music is like a journey through dance music’s past, present, and future – taking listeners on a wild rollercoaster ride of impressive beats, Brazilian musical heritage, and retro sound. One such journey awaits us on Saturday, July 8, at EXIT’s mts Dance Arena!
Vintage Culture has been on the electronic music scene since 2011, making a significant breakthrough with remixes of iconic songs “Another Brick in the Wall“ and “Blue Monday.” His unique blend of house, techno, and Brazilian rhythms has earned him critical acclaim and devoted fans around the world, and since 2015, he has consistently made the prestigious DJ Mag Top 100 DJs list!
He released the EP “Hollywood“ in 2016 in collaboration with Ganza Seal Skol Music and Spinnin Records, but he achieved his biggest success with a remix of “Drinkee“ by the vibrant, energetic duo Sofi Tukker, who will also be performing at this year’s EXIT festival on the same day, Saturday, July 8! This remix landed him a high fourth place on Beatport’s Dance chart and remained in the Top 10 a whole month after its release. The single “Wild Kidz“ propelled him onto the global electronic scene, and the song made it to Spotify’s Global Viral playlist and received support from Oliver Heldens, EDX, and Sam Feldt. Many of his releases have gone platinum and topped leading Beatport, Billboard, and Spotify charts.
Vintage Culture is known for his impeccable ability to mix melodic and progressive techno with retro house undertones, which he demonstrates in the most renowned nightclubs and at the busiest global festivals. Two years ago, he also launched his weekly radio show Culture Shock, and 2022 saw a special collaboration with co-founder and vocalist of the iconic band Faithless, Maxi Jazz, on the single “Commotion.“ This Brazilian recently released the singles “Alive,” “If I Live Forever,“ and “Tina,“ which became instant hits. They are vocally enriched and tension-filled tracks that are impossible to get out of your head after you hear them once. One of the most recent chapters on his musical journey is the launch of an impressive series of events called Born Of Music Addiction, and just last week, he introduced the track “Fallen Leaf,“ heralding his debut album!
