On the 19th and 20th of May, Umag’s Stella Maris lagoon will see Schulz bring a strong set-list of commercial dance music backed by another well-regarded artist, house grandmaster Mahmut Orhan.
The new wave of reinforcements for this year’s line-up is joined by as many as fourteen regional trap and hip-hop names, led by the absolute queen of this genre – Senidah, regional trap legends Krankšvester and Hiljson Mandela, the leading hip-hop act of the new generation – Grše, as well as underground rap heroes – 30Zona. They join the previously announced electro-punk giants The Prodigy and emerging techno superstar Indira Paganotto. The current price of festival tickets will be valid no later than 10th March.
With over 450 gold, platinum, and diamond digital awards in 30 countries, German DJ, producer, and hitmaker Robin Schulz is an absolute megastar of the electronic music scene. His hit remixes “Waves“ and “Prayer in C“ won over audiences worldwide and started his meteoric rise on the global music scene. He reached the DJ Mag Top 100 list of the world’s best DJs six years in a row. He has been nominated for a Grammy and has collaborated with stars such as David Guetta, Cheat Codes, and James Blunt. As of last year, he is also part of the prestigious “One Billion Stream“ club on Spotify, with his single “Sugar“ reaching a billion streams on the platform. His performance at the 5th Sea Star marks his return to the festival stage in Umag, where he performed for the first time in 2018, producing an unforgettable set.
Istanbul-based DJ and producer Mahmut Orhan is also returning to the Umag festival stage, where he first performed in 2019. As one of the most promising dance music performers of our time, he has become an indispensable part of the world’s leading festivals. This Turkish artist has launched into stardom over the past few years thanks to his unmistakable talent for creating hits such as “Feel,“ “6 Days,“ and “Fly Above,“ with over a billion combined streams on various platforms.
The undisputed Balkans trap queen – Senidah – is another addition to the main stage of Sea Star! Her megahits “Slađana,” “Mišići,” and “Behute” have reached millions of views on YouTube. After last year’s crowd-pleasing performance in the Umag lagoon, she returns with a new studio album, “Za tebe,” which has delighted the region.
Hiljson Mandela, a Croatian trap pioneer, has won over the audience in the region with his first solo album, “Mandela Effect,” and his singles “McLaren” and “Cura s kvarta” have ravaged the charts. The powerful trap gang line-up also includes the hip-hop duo Krankšvester, Trilj rapper Grše whose current single “Sip“ hasn’t left the Billboard Croatia Songs 25 chart for weeks, as well as the fierce underground rap duo 30Zona. They are joined by big regional names like Fox & Surreal, Ružno Pače, Micka Lifa, Masayah, and Thicc Boi, as well as a new generation of Croatian trap and hip-hop acts, Buntai, TTM, Miach, and Podočnjaci, some of whom will have their premiere performances at the Sea Star Festival!
As has already been announced, the 5th edition of Sea Star will host the year’s most sought-after tour — global musical giants, The Prodigy, are coming to the main stage. The most influential electro-punk band of all time has already been announced as the festival’s leading headliner, along with the queen of the psytechno genre, one of the biggest rising stars of the global electronic music scene – Indira Paganotto, who will have her premiere performance in Umag.
With this latest boost to this year’s line-up, Umag’s magical Stella Maris lagoon becomes the starting point for Exit’s new festival season, which will begin on the 19th and 20th of May.
