As we look forward to the quarter-century celebration, set for July 10-13, 2025, EXIT’s official aftermovie captures the brightest moments from this year’s festival!
In honor of one of the greatest scientists of all time, Nikola Tesla, the festival’s Main Stage was named Tesla Universe. With an impressive program on Day Zero, the festival also marked his birthday. Over five festival days, more than 210,000 visitors from around the world spread across 40+ stages and zones shared incredible energy and a profound love for music!
“We’re here to awaken our superpowers and change the world!” said one of the world’s top motivational speakers, Wim Hof, joined by Oren Harris, Henry Ammar, and Stefanos Sifandos during the grand opening ceremony of EXIT’s 24th edition. The event was further enhanced by Lava’s enchanting performance of “Starseed,” a song composed specially for EXIT’s birthday, alongside the unique Music of Hope project—a special program developed in partnership with the renowned El Sistema movement, recognized by UNESCO as the world’s best socially inclusive program.
Day Zero’s program continued with rising star Baby Lasagna, Burak Yeter, Dimash Qudaibergen, Iniko, and many more! On the first official festival day, the Main Stage was taken over by the authentic rhymes of trap pioneer Gucci Mane, while the mts Dance Arena was transformed into the ultimate dance floor by DJ legend Carl Cox, along with fresh talents like Klangkuenstler and Sama Abdulhadi!
The second festival day was headlined by the iconic pop-rap group Black Eyed Peas, with the energy continuing at the mts Dance Arena thanks to the Ukrainian duo ARTBAT, the world premiere of Argy b2b Vintage Culture, and the performance by EXIT Echosystem’s first signee, Lanna!
Saturday’s Main Stage saw punk pioneers The Exploited, followed by Kenya Grace, who brought new energy with hits sung in unison by the crowd, paving the way for John Newman’s spectacular Hybrid DJ set that crowned the night.
Over at the mts Dance Arena, techno trailblazer I Hate Models and the dynamic Patrick Mason, supported by Desna and up-and-coming DJ star Katalina, set the stage ablaze. Meanwhile, one of the icons of EXIT’s electronic music temple, Maceo Plex, sealed the festival night with a magical sunrise in the Fortress trenches. On the NSNS Stage Refreshed by Heineken Silver, deep house master Francis Mercier, melodic techno enchantress Awen, and brilliant house producer Sona took the spotlight!
On the final festival night, the crowd fully embraced the powerful guitar riffs of the much-anticipated Tom Morello, founder of the legendary Rage Against the Machine! The magical atmosphere continued on the Tesla Universe stage with the French duo Ofenbach, while mts Dance Arena fans were thrilled by Barry Can’t Swim and Grammy-nominated artist Bonobo. The NSNS Stage Refreshed by Heineken Silver was filled to the brim for the performance of techno’s new global star Sara Landry, while the grand finale came courtesy of the incomparable Black Coffee, delivering a one-of-a-kind closing set as the sun rose over a packed Petrovaradin Fortress.
EXIT’s 25th-anniversary celebration, taking place from July 10 to 13, 2025, promises a quantum leap in festival experiences. This landmark moment will take us back to the State of EXIT—a metaphorical “state” infused with the freedom, energy, and emotions of millions who have passed through the gates of Petrovaradin Fortress over the past two decades. Excitement is definitely building, with the first lineup announcements and plenty of surprises for next summer’s grand celebration of EXIT’s 25th anniversary right around the corner.
