The variety of DJs who contributed to Dance Arena’s reputation were joined by Jamie Jones in 2017, and his performance will be broadcast on Saturday, 15th May at 8:21 PM.
Jamie describes himself as a fan of vinyl records and says that he spends a lot of his time looking for songs that not many people know about — the lesser-known, the better. “To me, the best DJs are the ones who can make everyone on the floor dance with songs I’ve never heard before. Whenever I manage to do that at one of my performances — I go home a happy man,“ Jamie said in an interview with British DJ Mag. He is also a producer and recipient of two DJ awards. He is a member of the electro group „Hot Natured“and runs the label „Hot Creations“. In 2011, the prestigious music magazine Resident Advisor named him the best DJ of the year.
His passion for electronic music, as he says, was first recognized by his mother, and when he was 15, she gave him an audio mixer for Christmas, although he had no idea how to use it. It turned out that in the years to come, he gave techno a warmer, more melodic side. He is the founder and host of the Paradise party in Ibiza, which happens every Wednesday in the cult nightclub DC10. Over the years, Paradise has become a world-famous event, with Jamie collaborating with festivals and brands such as The Warehouse Project, Printworks, Tomorrowland, We Are Fstvl, BPM and DGTL.
In the coming weeks, EXIT TV, which you can watch via the YouTube channel, the EXIT Facebook page, and the RTS Facebook page, will also broadcast performances by the worldwide concert attraction — the Manchester band Hurts (22nd May) and a special back 2 back set from two techno ladies – Rebekah and Paula Temple (29th May).
