Tom Morello – Music Will Humanitarian of the Year Award and Performance at the Canadian Museum for Human Rights
The organization Music Will, dedicated to providing free music education and resources to children from preschool to high school, awarded Tom Morello the Humanitarian of the Year award for his special contribution in 2023. „This award is something that lives and breathes now for generations and will continue to create links in the chain of people making music and potentially changing their worlds with it,” said the Rage Against the Machine guitarist.
Last Friday, Morello performed at the Canadian Museum for Human Rights, at the opening of a new interactive exhibition that merges music and activism, featuring the van from Rage Against the Machine‘s first tour. “The entire history of my recording and performing career has been about more than entertainment: It’s about changing the world,” Morello said, concluding, “The one question that I’ve been asked repeatedly throughout the years is how do I get involved, and the answer to that is everywhere in this museum.”

Synonymous with DJ-ing as a profession, the great Carl Cox is one of the key speakers in DJ Mag‘s new documentary, Top 100 DJs: The World’s Biggest Music Poll. As a name that has been positioned in the Top 100 DJs since its inception in 1993, Cox has a long tradition with this prestigious global music media, and last year he received the Outstanding Contribution Award on the occasion of the thirtieth anniversary of this iconic list.

One of the leading stars of the new generation on a meteoric rise, Kenya Grace, has announced a North American and Australian tour for the spring of this year. A series of 12 performances will kick off on April 3rd in Toronto and conclude in Fremantle, Australia, on May 11th. After that, we look forward to seeing her at EXIT Festival this July!
