Wu-Tang Clan receive a prestigious award for their outstanding contribution to hip-hop culture
It has been proven once again that the headliners of the last night of this year’s EXIT Festival – Wu-Tang Clan – are absolutely deserving of the title of the most influential hip-hop group of all time! In anticipation of the global celebration of 50 years of this culture, the cult magazine HOT 97 has selected the Wu-Tang Clan as the first winners of the “Hip Hop Impact“ award, honoring their outstanding contribution to hip-hop, as well as the huge influence they’ve had on music and culture in general.
HOT 97 emphasized that there was no one more deserving of this honor: “For decades, the RZA and the rest of the Wu have blazed a trail for entertainers in music, film and the arts, all while creating one of the most prolific music catalogues in hip hop history. We congratulate and celebrate them today and always,” said Bradford Tobin, the magazine’s President, Chief Operating Officer and General Counsel.
Skrillex and Vintage Culture are part of the “F1 23” soundtrack!
After recently presenting his new single “Vai Sentando,“ included in the soundtrack of the tenth installment of the “Fast and Furious“ franchise, Skrillex continues his excursions into pop culture – his track “Supersonic (My Existence)“ featuring the iconic Noisia will be included in the video game “F1 23.”
One of the headliners on the third day of EXIT’s mts Dance Arena, Brazilian producer and DJ Vintage Culture, also contributes to the soundtrack with the song “Adidas & Pearls.“
Skrillex releases a music video for “XENA”
Eight-time Grammy winner Skrillex, performing at EXIT Universe on July 7, also presented a captivating music video for the song “Xena,” released in collaboration with Palestinian singer, composer, and flutist Nai Barghouti on the album “Quest For Fire.”
Director Amara Abbas pointed out that the film is inspired by the strength and anger of women, their desire for liberation, freedom of choice, and unwavering resistance.
Alesso to perform ahead of the Champions League final
On June 10, the Champions League final will take place at the Ataturk Stadium in Istanbul. The most anticipated football event in the world will be watched by millions of spectators from over 200 countries! The final match between Manchester City and Inter will be preceded by an opening ceremony featuring performances by big music stars, including EXIT headliner Alesso!
“I can’t express how excited I am to be a special guest on the show leading up to the Champions League final! I’ve been a passionate sports fan since I was a child; my dream is coming true to be a part of football history,” said Alesso, who recently premiered his new single “Without You“ and will perform at Gorki List Main Stage on Saturday, July 8!
Epica: Single “Unleashed (Live at the AFAS Live)“
After their recent spectacular performances as part of Metallica’s world tour, at concerts in Paris and Hamburg, symphonic metal band Epica presented another live single from their previous European tour – the song “Unleashed.” The song was recorded in the AFAS Live hall in Amsterdam in January of this year, and we will have the opportunity to hear it live on EXIT Festival’s Gorki List Main Stage on Friday, July 7.
“Unleashed has been a band and fan favorite live song ever since its release on ‘Design Your Universe’. There was no question about playing it on our biggest indoor show to date, and with the amazing images on the big LED wall, the song got lifted to even higher experience,” said the band’s keyboard player Coen Janssen.
Viagra Boys will be touring with Queens of the Stone Age this year!
Guitar sensation Viagra Boys announced on social media that they will join the new generation’s rock icons – the band Queens of the Stone Age – on tour from August to October this year as special guests.

As expected, the announcement was made in their style, with the caption, “You might have been wondering why we’ve all been hitting the gym. We’ve actually successfully manifested joining the international group of supermodel rockstars Queens of the Stone Age for their US arena tour!” Before that, the Serbian audience will welcome them to EXIT Universe on July 6, on Gorki List Main Stage!

What a collab! &ME, one of the producers behind the Keinemusik collective, has just released “Rapture Pt. III,“ in collaboration with Black Coffee, the patron of Afro House.
“Great tune,” “Blessings,” and “Constant 8-minute smile music” are just some of the fans’ comments on the highly compatible collaboration. The light and gentle melody of the song nicely foreshadows what &ME’s collective Keinemusik has in store for the closing morning of EXIT’s mts Dance Arena.
Mind Against Presents Habitat: A Fusion of Music, Art, and Technology
“A platform where music, art, and technology meet” – this is how the Italian duo Mind Against described Habitat, the label they just started. As they explain, this project aims to explore the unlimited potential that lies at the intersection of these three areas, which they hope will surpass conventional boundaries. They are confident that music can break down barriers, unite people, and change the world. We hope for that during their performance at mts Dance Arena on Sunday, July 9!

The magical indie-techno-house duo Gioli & Assia never cease to delight listeners around the world, both with their sets and their recording locations. One of the latest was made in Sicily, in the magnificent temple of Segesta. “This is the most powerful yet emotional set from you guys,” reads one of the comments.
The video of this set has reached a fantastic 1 million views on YouTube, which they happily shared on Instagram, announcing new live performances! Gioli & Assia will be part of the final day at mts Dance Arena, dedicated mainly to live performances.
Human Rias: New Release “Don’t Know What To Say“
Human Rias, producer, DJ, and founder of the label 7Rituals, who will perform at mts Dance Arena on Friday, July 7, presented a brand new single, “Don’t Know What To Say,” which features the prominent Ukrainian vocalist Teya Flow. The track was presented as an EP in two versions – as an original mix produced by Human Rias and Just James and as a remix by Axel Haube.

Young producer and DJ MIJU, who will perform as part of an exclusive all-female concept at the opening of EXIT’s mts Dance Arena on July 6, has released a new single, “Metatron (Bliss Inc. Remix)” in collaboration with authentic producer MKDSL. “Prepare to embark on an extraordinary journey through the realms of sound and imagination. In the video, we used AI-generated imagery, my live dance moves, and sacred geometry,” MIJU announced.
