After London, Berlin, Paris, and other major European cities, the Serbian capital finds its place on his tour map once again! After a rousing performance in Belgrade last year that saw over 5,000 ravers on their feet, the masked DJ and producer returns, joined by representatives from his renowned record label Fckng Serious – Deniz Bul and Moritz Hofbauer – for another techno spectacle. Boris’s show will kick off the three-day EXIT Belgrade Takeover weekend, setting the tone for a sleepless November.
This time, Boris and the Fckng Serious crew have prepared a unique live light show that will engage the entire audience. Every ticket holder will be given special LED wristbands at the entrance, illuminating the Main Hangar to the powerful, dark, and mystical beats controlled by the masked maestro.
Boris Brejcha’s deep connection with the EXIT audience is well documented. He has expressed his delight with the Fortress and its attendees each time he has performed there. His music is more than just techno beats that heat up any party; his performances have marked some pivotal moments in people’s lives. The proposal during his set at the Dance Arena in 2022 clearly shows that Boris’s music touches hearts beyond just increasing their BPM.
In just a few months, his latest release, “Level One,” has risen to stand shoulder to shoulder with some of his biggest hits. Tracks like “Up Down Jumper,“ “Darkness,“ “To The Moon And Back,“ “Take It Smart,“ and “Vienna“ are rapidly becoming classics in the high-tech minimal genre that he pioneered and perfected. After releasing a remix of “My Favourite Stranger” by the legendary Depeche Mode, Brejcha further solidified his appeal among local fans, given this band’s profound influence in the region.
With the backing of the talented producer and DJ Deniz Bul, whose mission is to gift the world more techno, and the young musician Moritz Hofbauer, known for his distinctive live performances at Fckng Serious showcases, the “In Concert” show promises to be a spectacle that will be talked about for years to come.
This is the third installment in the Dance Arena Belgrade Takeover series. The first party, held in March at the Main Hangar, was headlined by Hot Since 82, drawing around 5,000 dancers, while the May 12 event at Štark Arena was an unprecedented spectacle for Belgrade. Paul Kalkbrenner performed for almost 10,000 attendees, transforming the Belgrade Arena into a techno haven with his timeless hits.
During this EXIT Belgrade Takeover weekend, three events will take place from November 10th to 12th. The weekend’s entertainment will kick off with the unique and enigmatic masked DJ and producer Boris Brejcha performing at Belgrade’s Main Hangar on Friday, November 10th. The following evening, the Main Hangar will come alive with the Saturday night fever vibes of DJ duo Artbat and Adana Twins, delivering an unforgettable No Sleep experience to the most dedicated ravers. Rounding off the grand Belgrade Takeover will be the grounding New Moon Ecstatic Cacao event, capping off a weekend filled with music, dance, and cherished moments with friends.
