The seventeen-year-old electronic music wunderkind performed as part of the legendary Drumcode Records party series, one of the leading forces in the global techno realm founded by none other than techno titan Adam Beyer. Since the beginning of her collaboration with the renowned Maria May, known for her work with David Guetta, the first signee of the comprehensive talent development hub EXIT Echosystem has gone from strength to strength, and this performance adds to her growing list of international achievements.
May, a member of the Creative Artists Agency, one of the most influential music agencies worldwide, who added Lanna to her stellar roster last October, was succinct and impactful in her praise, saying simply, “Lanna slayed!”
This past weekend, the newly minted epicenter of the UK electronic scene, the superclub Drumsheds London, housed in a former Ikea and boasting a capacity of 15,000, hosted Lanna at the largest Drumcode party to date! Alongside Lanna and host Adam Beyer, the event featured performances by Stephan Bodzin, Layla Benitez, Kölsch, Yotto, and many others, showcasing the label’s pivotal role in the techno world.
Lanna first drew international attention as a wunderkind of the electronic scene when she played at EXIT at just 13 years old, becoming one of the youngest artists ever to perform at this multi-award-winning festival. In the spring of last year, she became the first signee of EXIT Echosystem, a comprehensive center for global talent development. A few months later, one of the world’s leading music agents, Maria May, took the helm of her career.
The performance in London, a global music capital, represents another significant international achievement for this Serbian and regional rising star. Lanna has already shared the stage with some of the biggest names in electronic music, including Bonobo, Paul Kalkbrenner, Lee Burridge, Nina Kraviz, Amelie Lens, Indira Paganotto, Hot Since 82, and many others.
