Leading the pop/soul genre, superstar John Newman will be in splendid company alongside Turkish producer, hitmaker, and DJ Burak Yeter and the unique regional musician Konstrakta. Giving a nod to guitar-driven music lovers, regional rock veterans Van Gogh, will be taking the stage. With a career spanning over three decades, they’ve released ten studio albums, including their latest, “More bez obala.“ Founded in 1986, Van Gogh has filled arenas worldwide and bagged the regional MTV award twice. The band’s lead singer, songwriter, and frontman Zvonimir Đukić Đule also unveiled a book in 2019 titled “Van Gogh – More bez obala,” offering a deep dive into song lyrics, photographs, and, as described, the secrets of their journey.

Hailing from Strumica itself, Macedonian Džambo Aguševi Orchestra is today one of the best brass ensembles in the Balkans. Their first international release in 2016 marked a significant stride toward global recognition. In 2020, they released their second album, “Brasses for the Masses,“ under the renowned German label Asphalt Tango. This album showcased their impeccable musicality and introduced a fresh, funky sound, which the Džambo Aguševi Orchestra is excited to deliver in Strumica City Park.
This Get EXITed event will also shine a spotlight on emerging talents in the electronic music scene, including Lanna and The Geors. Lanna, a budding producer and DJ from Novi Sad, started her ascent to stardom at the age of 13 when she performed at EXIT as the festival’s youngest act ever. With gigs alongside global stars like Nina Kraviz, Amelie Lens, Paul Kalkbrenner, and Indira Paganotto already under her belt, she started releasing her own tracks last autumn, most notably “My Journey,“ followed by the EP “White Shadows“ in collaboration with Sebastian Haas. This landed her a spot as the youngest producer on Beatport’s Top 100 Progressive-House list. Lanna is also the poster child of EXIT’s expansive hub for cultivating global music stars, titled EXIT Echosystem.
The Geors, a Macedonian melodic techno duo, consists of twin sisters – Patricia and Andrea Geor. Their foray into the world of electronic music began in 2015. Apart from performing in their homeland, North Macedonia, they’ve showcased their talents in Switzerland, Greece, Albania, and Bulgaria, with the global stages on the horizon. Apart from their deep-rooted love for classical music and proficiency in piano and violin, the Geor sisters have also carved out successful modeling careers spanning over a decade.
With seven exceptional acts, including John Newman, Burak Yeter, Konstrakta, Van Gogh, Džambo Aguševi Orchestra, Lanna, and The Geors, this second edition of Get EXITed promises a musically diverse extravaganza open to all!
