Precisely this will be the topic of the panel “Festival Futures: Core Priorities” within the 33rd edition of the International Live Music Conference (ILMC), which, due to the pandemic, will be held online for the first time.
This panel will feature a number of music industry experts, including Dušan Kovačević (EXIT Festival, RS), Kaptin Barrett (Boomtown Fair, UK), Philippe Cornu (Berne Gadget abc Entertainment, CH), Michal Kaščák (Pohoda Festival, SK), Sara Maria Kordek (Good Taste Production, PL) and Fruzsina Szép (Goodlive / Superbloom (DE).
Together, they will try to answer questions regarding what they consider to be important after the shock that hit the entire industry, as well as how certain measures and ways of functioning in the post-COVID world could be established. From environmental issues and charity campaigns to diversity, equality and inclusion, festival leaders will go beyond their own boundaries to consider what their events mean to them and their fans.
This panel is scheduled for Friday, 5th of March, from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM. More information on the 33rd ILMC can be found on the conference official website.
