The renowned Euronews has repeatedly celebrated the award-winning EXIT festival, highlighting not only the big musical acts set to perform but also the stunning beauty of the Petrovaradin Fortress and the added allure of the festival’s geographical setting. Their latest piece goes a step further, beckoning Europeans to ditch the far-flung Coachella in favor of EXIT’s electrifying festival vibe, star-studded lineups, authentic ambiance, and unforgettable moments – all at a fraction of the cost and without the hassle of globe-trotting.
“Everyone might be buzzing over the recently announced Coachella 2024 line-up, but we’ve got some news for you – Europe does it better!“ Euronews writes, listing the best European festivals, with EXIT featured as a “Balkan paradise for all things drum n’ bass, techno, and hip-hop.“
Announcing that the dates are set from July 10th to 14th, the legendary music magazine Rolling Stone has also released the initial lineup for this year’s EXIT. In a feature, Rolling Stone writes: “EXIT Festival is held at the Petrovaradin Fortress, a 17th-century stronghold located on the Danube River in the Serbian city of Novi Sad, providing a striking backdrop for the event across over 40 stages and zones,“ the iconic magazine notes, adding:
“The festival began in 2000 as a student movement fighting for democracy and freedom. It has since grown into one of Europe’s most popular music events, lauded for its electric atmosphere and standout performances.“
The leading electronic music magazine, DJ Mag, also announced this year’s edition of the EXIT Festival. Longtime followers of EXIT, the magazine describes its atmosphere as “the most magnificent sights you can witness at any dance event worldwide.“
NME highlights the diversity of the program, announcing the first names of the “stacked 2024 line-up.“
Alongside these, numerous major music media outlets have announced the first wave of EXIT festival performers, including We Rave You, Crack Magazine, IQ Magazine, and many others.
