The WOMBA platform is part of the MOST – The Bridge for Balkan Music project, supported by the Creative Europe Programme, aiming to connect and promote artists, promoters, events, labels, and organisations from the region, focused on the authentic traditional music of the Balkans, strengthening the market of the World Music genre in this part of the world and striving to help the traditional music from this region break onto the global music scene.
After the opening ceremony, a big conscious music star DJ Mose created a relaxing atmosphere, and English singer-songwriter Sam Garrett enchanted the audience with his incredible voice. Aside from them, the Serbian band Naked and Divanhana from Bosnia and Herzegovina, two of the winners of the MOST competition for Balkan Music Expert, as well as Kamerata Balkanika & Lana Zorjan, DJ Farrapo and Vinodilo performed on the first night.
