EXIT has advocated peace since its foundation, so we strongly condemn this act, which aims to portray the festival, Novi Sad, and Serbia in a negative light, as well as any act inciting national hatred or aggression of any kind.
We have received assurances from the relevant institutions of the City of Novi Sad that the controversial graffiti would be removed, which it was, as well as assurances from the police that similar attempts will be prevented.
Furthermore, this year, EXIT will send messages of peace loudly and clearly during the festival, allowing visitors from all over the world to witness them firsthand.
EXIT always welcomes guests from around the globe and throughout the region, and the festival is a second home for all of them. We are proud of the fact that there are no weapons at the Fortress except love and smiles.
