This is the most anticipated football event in the world, watched by millions of spectators in over 200 countries! The final match between Manchester City and Inter will be preceded by an opening ceremony featuring big music stars, including Alesso, a multi-platinum producer and DJ, whom we will have the opportunity to see and hear at the EXIT Festival this year!
UEFA announced Alesso as a special guest at this global event, intended to unite sport, music, and culture. Brazilian pop superstar Anitta featured on Alesso’s song “Is That for Me,“ as well as Grammy Award winner Burna Boy will also perform at the opening ceremony.
“I cannot express how thrilled I am to be the Special Guest! As a big fan of the sport since I was a kid, it is a dream come true to be a part of Football History,” said Alesso, who just released his new single “Without You.“
Alesso’s musical achievements and collaborations earned him a performance at the sporting event of the year. Last year, he dominated the airwaves and festivals worldwide with the hit single “Words“ featuring pop star Zara Larsson. He is a staple in the dance music charts, and his versatility is evidenced by collaborations with extremely diverse artists, including Katy Perry, Ryan Tedder (One Republic), Calvin Harris, Tove Lo, James Bay, Swedish House Mafia, and many others.
Along with previous hits such as the platinum “If I Lose Myself“ and the gold “Under Control,“ this Swedish artist also achieved tremendous success with the song “Calling (Lose My Mind),“ which reached the top of the Billboard Hot Dance/Electronic Songs chart. Fans will most likely hear all these hits during his performance tomorrow before the Champions League grand final. And the best part is that Alesso will arrive at the Petrovaradin fortress in Serbia shortly after that! He will perform on the Gorki List Main Stage on Saturday, July 8.
Along with him, from July 6 to 9, the EXIT Universe, supported by Gorki List, will host the headliners of the most sought-after tour in the world, The Prodigy, rap gods Wu-Tang Clan, Grammy record holder Skrillex, as well as Eric Prydz, Nina Kraviz, Amelie Lens, Indira Paganotto, Viagra Boys, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, Claptone, Keinemusik, Hot Since 82, CamelPhat, Ben Böhmer live, Agents Of Time live, Mind Against, Chase & Status, Sofi Tukker, LF System, Mahmut Orhan, Burak Yeter, Layla Benitez, Gioli & Assia live, Gheist live, 8Kays, Marko Nastić, Tijana T, Space Motion, Coeus, Kristijan Molnar, Human Rias, Mene, Ben UFO, Anetha, Avalon Emerson, Carlita, Desiree, Shimza, Cici, Patrick Mason, Partiboi69, Koboyo, Raven, X-Coast, Ignite, Wolfbrigade, Midnight, Cockney Rejects, Exciter, Massacre, The Toasters, Dry Cleaning, Rudeboy, Bojana Vunturišević, Atheist Rap, Pero Defformero, Porto Morto, and many others.
