With just over two weeks until the start of EXIT festival, which will take place from July 6 to 9 at the Petrovaradin Fortress, accommodation capacities in Novi Sad and the surrounding area are filling up at lightning speed — according to official data, over 90% of accommodations are booked up at this point, so the festival’s organizers urge anyone who hasn’t secured their accommodation yet to hurry and do so! Given this interest from tourists worldwide, the festival’s contribution to the local economy is expected to surpass last year’s numbers, which amounted to €19.7 million. Since its inception, EXIT festival has contributed €220 million to the economy of Novi Sad and Serbia.
According to data from the world’s largest holiday booking platform, Booking.com, over 90% of all available accommodation capacities in Novi Sad are currently reserved for the period from July 6 to 9, during the EXIT festival, and the rest is expected to fill up by the time the festival opens. This year, the largest number of visitors is coming from neighboring Croatia, followed by Turkey, North Macedonia, and Bulgaria, but people are coming from literally all corners of the globe, from the USA and Mexico, through the United Kingdom and Germany, all the way to Australia and New Zealand!
The festivalgoers’ favorite accommodation, EXIT camp, will again open its doors to all visitors who choose to have the complete, day-and-night festival experience accompanied by a variety of content, and it will traditionally be situated on the banks of the Danube at Novi Sad’s Štrand, offering a view of the Petrovaradin Fortress. One of the most secure channels for booking accommodation is EXIT’s official tourist service, EXIT Trip, where a few accommodation units in the camp and hostels are still available.
From July 6 to 9, the EXIT Universe, supported by Gorki List, will host the headliners of the world’s most in-demand tour, The Prodigy, rap gods Wu-Tang Clan, Grammy record holder Skrillex, as well as the global electronic music scene’s #1 act Eric Prydz, along with Nina Kraviz, Amelie Lens, Indira Paganotto, Alesso, Viagra Boys, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, Claptone, Keinemusik, Hot Since 82, CamelPhat, Ben Böhmer live, Agents Of Time live, Mind Against, Chase & Status, Sofi Tukker, LF System, Mahmut Orhan, Burak Yeter, Ignite, Wolfbrigade, Midnight, Cockney Rejects, Exciter, Massacre, The Toasters, Dry Cleaning, Rudeboy, and many others.
