After the successful closing of the 24th edition of the EXIT Festival, the well-coordinated team from Petrovaradin Fortress moves to the Croatian coast for another two days of musical adventure that will take over Hvar on August 16 and 17. The unique Carpe Diem Beach location on Marinkovac Island, a short boat ride from Hvar town, offers an escape from the daily grind into a magical world of clear waters, untouched nature, and the hottest parties under the stars. This unique location ensures privacy and peace while offering the finest party program with world-famous DJs.
Enjoy moments of endless delight with Claptone, a genius whose sets are enveloped in a mysterious aura, a hidden house maestro whose primary goal is for his music to be the audience’s focus, unhindered by his identity. Since his debut album “Charmer” in 2015, he has captivated electronic music lovers worldwide. This was followed by “The Masquerade” (2016), “Fantast” (2018), and “Closer” (2021). His success was crowned in 2021 with a high third place on the prestigious DJ Mag Alternative Top list, and the following year, he was on Beatport’s list of the ten best-selling artists! Throughout his decade-long career, Claptone has delivered numerous stylized remixes of influential artists such as Elton John, Dua Lipa, Depeche Mode, Pet Shop Boys, New Order, Florence & The Machine, Gorillaz, Gregory Porter, Disclosure, Faithless, Bastille, Hurts, Metronomy, and others.
Also set to dominate the DJ booth is the irresistible musical duo Nervo, queens of the Australian EDM scene, songwriters, collaborators, and twin sisters. Highly sought after and adored worldwide, they perform on the most diverse stages, from the sparkling beaches of Ibiza to the impressive main stages of the world’s largest festivals, including Tomorrowland, Lollapalooza, Creamfields, Balaton Sound, EDC, Electric Zoo, ULTRA, and many others. Wherever they roam, their infectious energy, fearless personal style, and deep love and understanding of music set them apart from others on the EDM scene. The sisters initially honed their skills by writing songs for artists such as Kylie Minogue, Ke$ha, The Pussycat Dolls, Afrojack, Steve Aoki, and Armin Van Buuren, and their career was crowned with a Grammy award for the iconic song “When Love Takes Over,” written for David Guetta and Kelly Rowland in 2009.
Joining the Carpe Diem Moments roster is multi-talented Scottish musician, DJ, and producer KC Lights, who has firmly established himself as one of the most exciting talents on the UK scene. KC Lights’ distinctive sound has earned him a massive fan base, and his distinct approach to house music has secured him performances on BBC Radio 1, Ireland’s RTE Pulse, Revolution Radio in Miami, and Sirius XM. He has toured the world’s biggest dance floors, such as Creamfields, We Are FSTVL, ADE, The Warehouse Project, Ministry of Sound, and Printworks, and has become a resident in Ibiza with performances at clubs like Amnesia, Hi, Pacha, Eden, and many others.
In addition to these headliners, the event will feature some of the best representatives of the Croatian electronic scene. House DJ Matroda brings his original approach to creating music, which has taken him around the world, from Ibiza to Sydney to Los Angeles, having started in his homeland, Croatia. With over a million monthly streams on Spotify and support from some of the biggest names on the scene, such as Diplo, Calvin Harris, and Major Lazer, Matroda’s sound resonates with electronic music enthusiasts worldwide. Joining him in Hvar will be Goran and Vice, collectively known as Outcome. This duo brings an experimental and innovative sound, making each set a unique, direct product of their perception of music, which is a way of life for them. The audience will also be treated to Zimon – one of Croatia’s most talented DJs and producers, who has been tearing up clubs across the country for some time.
