Hosted at the Faralda Crane, one of the world’s most unique clubs and 5* hotels, situated a staggering 50 meters above Amsterdam, EXIT’s event on October 20 will be spearheaded by one of electronic music’s most in-demand artists, Bonobo. Adding heat to this high-altitude revelry with his distinctive sound is Cassian, while the evening will also include a showcase of the unique all-encompassing hub for developing global musical talents, EXIT Echosystem. As part of this showcase, Echosystem’s premier signee and electronic scene prodigy, Lanna, will perform, along with Human Rias b2b Arodes, iLEE, and Ece Ekren. Moreover, this event will also see EXIT unveil some exclusive announcements.
Bonobo, a titan of the global electronic music scene, is poised to bring a spectacular DJ set to the Amsterdam Dance Event. This master of blending diverse musical genres and headliner of major festivals worldwide comes fresh off the release of his album “Fragments“ from last year. With a career spanning over two decades, he boasts an impressive five Grammy nominations, two of which came this year alone. He can also proudly say he has performed for 2 million fans during his “Migration“ tour in 2017, with the eponymous LP clinching the #1 spot on Billboard’s Best Dance Albums chart and making it to the Top 10 in several countries. Joining him at ADE is Cassian, a progressive house producer and DJ from Los Angeles, recognized across the music industry for his versatility. He began his journey over a decade ago in the club scene, while 2020 saw the release of his debut album “Laps”, and his first Grammy nomination.
As part of the exclusive EXIT Echosystem Showcase at the Amsterdam Dance Event, the spotlight shines on the prodigious talent that is Lanna, a producer, DJ, and a true musical wunderkind from the vast hub dedicated to fostering global music stars. As the youngest-ever performer at EXIT Festival, her career already boasts remarkable accomplishments, such as sharing the stage with electronic-music giants like Paul Kalkbrenner, Indira Paganotto, Nina Kraviz, and Amelie Lens, among others. Her next stop? The Amsterdam Dance Event, where she will once again showcase her prowess, demonstrating why she holds her esteemed titles.
The showcase will also feature Human Rias, a DJ who was among the first to embrace a deeper collaboration with EXIT. This German-Iranian musician and producer will drop his new single, “I Can Feel You,” on October 12 under EXIT’s record label, EXIT Soundscape. As a cherished member of EXIT family and festival resident, his standout moment was last year’s performance at the mts Dance Arena, making history as the sole artist to both open and close this colossal dance platform! Joining him in a back-to-back set at the Amsterdam Dance Event is Arodes – a captivating DJ and producer from Spain, known for his fusion of afro-house and indie dance genres and a renowned figure on the global club and event circuit.
iLEE is another standout producer and DJ whose star has risen impressively in the electronic music echelons. At this year’s EXIT Festival, she dazzled audiences not once but twice — first as iLEE and then as Lady Lee, even having the honor of closing the Main Stage on the third festival night. Joining this stellar line-up is the rising star Ece Ekren, whom the media often liken to her fellow countryman Mahmut Orhan, thanks to her exotic house sound. Ece also had the opportunity to perform at EXIT’s Life Stream.
EXIT Festival recently launched EXIT Music & Talent Office, dubbed EXIT Echosystem. It was established with a mission to provide budding and talented musicians from our region and beyond with comprehensive support, paving the way for them to carve out successful global careers. This is achieved through a music label, artist management, bookings, mentorship, and collaboration with leading global music icons and agencies. Through EXIT’s program, emerging talents are integrated into the vast EXIT family and given a golden opportunity to break into the international music scene, guided and backed by experts from the music and festival sectors.
This year’s Amsterdam Dance Event will span five days and nights across more than 200 locations and feature over 2,500 artists! The collaboration between one of the most significant global events in the electronic music world and EXIT Festival commenced in 2018 when EXIT joined with its No Sleep music platform. This partnership was further enriched in 2019 through EXIT’s inaugural LIFE STREAM event. While EXIT hosted its parties at ADE in 2021 and 2022, this year, it returns to the Amsterdam Dance Event stronger than ever.
