The grand event, taking place at the “Mika Antić” sports hall, will be headlined by British DJ and producer Hot Since 82. Local talents Andrew Meller, Lanna, and Niš’s own DJ ZarEz will provide stellar support, making this fourth edition of the EXIT Dance Arena Takeover a perfect precursor to the upcoming festival season!
A favorite among local fans, Hot Since 82 is geared up to show why he’s the deserving recipient of the prestigious “Best Tech House DJ” award and a multiple nominee for various awards in the electronic music realm. His career is peppered with hits like “Buggin,’“ “Like You,“ and a remix of Green Velvet’s “Bigger Than Prince.“ His recent track “Never Enough,” in collaboration with Us Two and Paige Cavell, is set to electrify the crowd on March 1.
In recent months, Hot Since 82 has graced stages at numerous events and festivals, including the Amsterdam Dance Event and EXIT Festival, and in thrilling venues from Istanbul to Los Angeles, Houston, Miami, Buenos Aires, and more. A fixture in Ibiza, he’s conquered everything from the exclusive The Lab to pirate ships. His staggering popularity is also evident from the 14 million views on his famous 2019 Cercle set. With his impressive track record of performances on some of the world’s biggest electronic music stages and a string of hit releases, there’s no doubt that the Niš EXIT Dance Arena Takeover will be a feast for house music aficionados.
Andrew Meller, a Serbian DJ and producer, has been making waves under this moniker for nearly a decade. His tracks are a fusion of house, deep house, tech house, and techno influences. 2018 marked a huge leap in his career when his remix of the iconic track “Insomnia” climbed to the second spot on Beatport’s Main and Tech house charts, propelling him into contention for Beatport’s Track of the Year. Meller is renowned for hits like “Born Slippy (Reincarnation Mix),” which dominated Beatport’s main chart for 50 days, as well as “Godfather’s Dance,” “The Prophet,” and others.
The exclusive Niš edition of the EXIT Dance Arena Takeover will also feature a star from EXIT’s comprehensive hub for music talent development – the producer, DJ, and musical prodigy Lanna! As the youngest-ever performer at EXIT festival, Lanna has already shared the stage with giants of the global electronic scene like Paul Kalkbrenner, Indira Paganotto, Nina Kraviz, Amelie Lens, and many more. Her recent performance at the Amsterdam Dance Event was a testament to her skill. Ticket sales for EXIT Dance Arena Takeover in Niš kick off on December 21 at noon, starting with a special offer of 1,490 RSD for regular and 3,990 RSD for VIP tickets. This limited batch of tickets will be available for a maximum of 24 hours or until sold out. Tickets can be purchased online exclusively on the Gigs Tix website and the official festival website, with availability extending to Gigs Tix retail outlets after that.
