Details about the upcoming release are not yet known, but it is assumed to be a “sequel” to his album “Funk Wav Bounces Vol. 1“ from 2017.
One of the most anticipated headliners of this year’s EXIT Festival has teased a new release and excited fans worldwide. With his recent semi-cryptic six-word tweet – “Vol 2 is gonna be mad“ – Calvin started an avalanche of audience and media reactions.

According to EDM Tunes and The Music Essentials, although there’s no official confirmation as of yet, this is almost certainly a hint toward a sequel to his album “Funk Wav Bounces Vol. 1“, which was released five years ago. Featuring amazing collaborators, including Frank Ocean, Nicki Minaj, John Legend, Ariana Grande, Travis Scott, and many others, the 2017 Vol. 1 is one of Harris’s most successful releases with more than two billion streams.
Although we don’t know with whom Calvin Harris will collaborate on the upcoming release, American pop singer and songwriter Charlie Puth left a potential mark on his own Twitter account late last month.
Me and Calvin Harris made a fuckin really good song

Judging by the comments on Calvin’s original tweet, there are also hints of a collaboration with Madeon and SG Lewis. Although one of the leading headliners of this year’s Exit has not yet officially confirmed the sequel to Vol. 1, nor its exact release date, an official announcement is bound to come shortly.
