With his enchanting music, vibrant atmosphere, and undeniable energy, he never fails to create a sensation wherever he performs. Fresh off an unforgettable performance at this year’s EXIT festival, where he had tens of thousands dancing till dawn at Gorki List Main Stage, Yeter is set to electrify the beautiful Strumica City Park on September 7 for the grand Get EXITed extravaganza!
Growing up in Turkey, Burak Yeter was not only a successful student but went on to become a highway construction engineer. A promising career awaited him, and his family and friends were beaming with pride. Yet, much like a movie plot of chasing one’s dreams, he was simultaneously honing his DJing skills and sound production craft. After his studies in Turkey, he advanced his education in London, specializing as a sound engineer, setting the stage for his musical journey.
His musical inclination began early. At just eight, he picked up the guitar, later mastering other instruments. Leaving Turkey, he became a citizen of the world, constantly relocating and traveling, maturing into a formidable musician. His performance at the MTV Dance Floor Chart party in Malta was a significant chapter in his journey. There, he garnered his first dedicated fans and industry connections. For about a decade, he consistently released music, toured, and carved out a career, but everything came together perfectly in 2016. That’s when Yeter launched the “New World Project,” bringing a breath of fresh air not only to his craft but to the global house and dance music scene.
His track “Happy“ set the stage, but it was his collaboration with Danelle Sandoval, “Tuesday,“ that truly took the summer by storm. It was impossible to avoid that song at the beach, cafe, club, or mall – on Tuesday or any other day! It was one of the most Shazamed songs of 2017 worldwide. On the success of that track alone, he could have easily retired to a quiet life. But Burak chose to keep pushing boundaries, a sentiment echoed in his subsequent massive hit, “My life is going on.“ In no time, accolades from the international music industry began pouring in, even earning him a spot on DJ Mag’s list of the top 100 DJs in the world!
In recent years, he’s been stationed at his studio in Amsterdam, building his career and captivating audiences at festivals and clubs worldwide. On September 7, he’s heading to Get EXITed spectacle in Strumica City Park, where pop-soul superstar John Newman, regional sensation Konstrakta, and more acts yet to be announced will also be performing!
Admission is free and open to all visitors, while those looking to experience this major event by EXIT festival at its finest can purchase VIP tickets at 3.100 MKD (€50).
