The electronic grandmasters join the already announced line-up lead by Charlotte de Witte, Carl Cox, Nina Kraviz, Paul Van Dyk, Ben Klock, Marcel Dettmann, Ofenbach and Satori live whose performances, both live and virtual via special transparent screens, will grace the famous mts Dance Arena from September 3 to 6.
Tijana T, Divolly & Markward, Vantiz and Lady Lee have just confirmed their sets, which brings the total number of Life Stream performers to a total of 25!
Life Stream, a project implemented by EXIT supporting the United Nations World Food Programme, the world’s largest humanitarian organization fighting hunger, will be available online during the stream weekends on 17-20 and 24-27 September via the official website and EXIT festival’s Facebook page, and will be followed by millions around the world. During the program, numerous cultural and tourist sights of Novi Sad and Serbia will be presented In addition to humanitarian and environmental messages.
Life Stream is broadening the scope of its activities through the partnership with the world’s largest humanitarian organization and in addition to protecting the environment, it also highlights the problem of ending the famine crisis for millions of people around the world. The pandemic and quarantine measures will bring as many as 270 million people face to face with the problem of extreme hunger before the end of 2020, which is an increase of 80 percent compared to last year, and the consequences being the most severe for those who are already vulnerable. Video materials and messages will be broadcast during performances that address environmental protection and the famine crisis and, in addition to the music festival, an international panel within the “Conscious R:evolution” platform will discuss these issues.
In accordance with the environmental segment of the project, every day of Life Stream will be dedicated to one of the basic elements – Thursday belongs to the Earth, Friday to Water, Saturday to Fire, and the final day, Sunday to Air.
Thursday, September 3rd / Earth
The first day of Life Stream will be marked by a virtual performance by Carl Cox, and live performances at the Fortress by techno queen Charlotte de Witte, one of the most influential proponents of modern techno Marcel Dettmann, world-renowned Tijana T, and our own Ilija Djoković and Lag.
Friday, September 4th / Water
A mix of hitmakers and techno aristocracy will mark the Friday evening. The great Paul Van Dyk will perform virtually, while Ofenbach, Burak Yeter, Mahmut Orhan with regional support from Divolly & Markward, Vantiz and Lady Lee arriving in person.
Saturday, September 5th / Fire
Nina Kraviz will virtualy bring the atmosphere to a climax along with live performances by Adam Beyer and Ben Klock with the assistance of upcoming stars Ece Ekren and Space Motion.
Sunday, September 6th / Air
On the final evening of the Life Stream, Black Coffee will dominate the DJ deck in a special virtual edition, while DJ Tennis, Satori live, Marko Nastić, Coeus will perform live, as well as Kristijan Molnar in a special back2back set with After Affair, while the super-popular Hot Since 82 will have the honor of closing the entire festival.
