Street Dogs are a punk rock band from Boston, led by the formed Dropkick Murphys frontman Mike McColgan, who left the band after their debut album in 1998 to fulfill his lifelong dream – becoming a fireman. Street Dogs were formed in 2002, after McColgan realized he cannot live without his music. The first album, Savin Hill, gained extreme success, while the second one, Back To The World, released in 2004, gained even more, in the USA, Europe and Japan, opening many touring doors, with the likes of Social Distorsion, Tiger Army, Bad Religion, Millencolin, The Bouncing Souls and The Briefs. A little later, in 2006, the band headlined tours and opened for the legendary The Pogues. So far, the band has released five studio albums. Their latest, Street Dogs, was released in 2010. Famous for their socially-oriented working class lyrics and a true punk energy at the gigs, the band promises to raise the spectacle at Exit Festival to the fullest!
